Camp Dinners
By Lisa James, staff writer

Why settle for soggy sandwiches and burnt hot-dogs when you are camping! Enjoy the tantilizing tastes of the great outdoors by planning ahead and experimenting a little. Just because you are camping doesn’t mean you have to eat overcooked, ash covered food.

We've decided to focus on two different kinds of campfire cooking - tinfoil or packet meals and Dutch oven cooking. Tinfoil/packet meals are usually easy to make and easy to clean up. Dutch oven cooking can give you a wider variety of foods to make with only a little more prep and clean up time. Both methods allow you to easily create wonderfully good food that doesn't make you feel like you're camping.

Try one the next time you feel the need to escape to the outdoors!
