Oh
What Do You Do in the Summertime?
by Kathleen Gordon-Ross, senior editor
Oh what
do you do in the sumertime, when all the world is green?
Do you fish in the stream, or lazily dream on the banks as
the clouds go by?
Is that what you do? So do I!
Oh, what
do you do in the summertime, when all the world is green?
Do you swim in a pool, to keep yourself cool, or swing in
a tree up high?
Is that what you do? So do I!
Oh, what
do you do in the summertime, when all the world is green?
Do you march in parades, or drink lemonades, or count all
the stars in the sky?
Is that what you do? So do I!
I love this
Primary Song, and as school across the country prepare for granduations
of all kinds, Mom's are starting to plan fun things for their
kids to do this summer. What I love about this song is the gentle
reminder it gives that Summer is a time to slowdown and enjoy
the warm days and cool nights doing simple things.
Over the
years Mormonchic.com has provided Mom's with children of all
ages great ideas for ways to have fun with your children or
grandchildren without spending a ton of money or lots of time,
while hopefully keeping your summer carefree. Here are some
great resources and articles for you to look over. We hope you
find a few helpful in making your summertime plans be small
and simple or large and grand.
