Incorporating conference in FHE
If our latter-day prophets speak the word of God, just as the prophets of old, are we applying their teachings to our lives? One good way of doing this is to incorporate conference talks into our Family Home Evenings. Here are some ways we can do just that:

Write and perform skits
Studying a talk and have the family write a short skit about a general authority's talk. Put the skit on -video tape it if you have access to a camera.
Write modern-day commandments
Take several general authorities' talks and find the council they are giving us. Make stone "commandment" shaped  pages and write the counsel on them. Hang them up for a week and try to follow the counsel all week long.
Video night
Have Conference on video tape? Watch a talk for each FHE for the next few months. After you watch the talk, discuss it with your family. This is a good FHE for older kids that will pay attention to a conference talk.
Make a crossword
Take turns reading one of the talks. Make a large crossword puzzle on a piece of poster board, using keywords from the talk. Reinforce themes from the talk by asking questions for the crossword, making the answers the keywords. This is a fun way to remember key themes and ideas.
