This Month's Project:
Paper Weave
Thank-You Notes!

You've Got to Write Thank you cards...
Why not write them in style? Instead of sending out pre-made cards this year, make some of your own. Try these paper weave cards for a youthful colorful twist. (You remember when you made that place mat in 2nd grade? This is the same principle. This project is GREAT FOR KIDS!

Here's what you'll need:
-Cardstock
-An array of colored paper or construction paper
-Scissors or a paper trimmer
-Glue or tape
1. Using the trimmer or the scissors, cut the cardstock to make the face of the card. One fourth of the 8 1/2 by 11 " piece works well.
2. Cut evenly several strips about 1/4" thick. Be careful not to cut all the way through the end.
3. Using the trimmer or scissors, cut strips of colored paper. Varying widths make the weave interesting.
4. Weave the strips through the cardstock.
