Book
lables are a great way of identifying your books---especially
if you're used to sharing books with family, friends, or bringing
them to church.
These
fun, colorful labels are fun, fast, and are great for the whole
family to make. Using stickers, you don't even have to be an artist
to make these look cute.
SUPPLIES:
- White computer paper/scrapbook paper
- Stickers
- Markers, pencils
- Spray adhesive
STEP
BY STEP
1.
Cut a piece of ordinary white computer paper into a 2 1/2 by 5
inch rectangle. Trim two opposite edges with fun craft scissors.
2. Spray one side
the paper with spray adhesive. Note: Spray adhesive can be a bit
messy.
Crafty Chic tip: Make
sure you have some newspaper or scrap paper to lay your project
on when you spray it. If you have long hair, you might want to
pony it up because spray adhesive can stick worse than a really
bad can of cheap hairspray. Honest, I know. :(
3. Place the white
paper on your choice of solid or patterned scrapbook paper or
any other colorful acid-free paper.
4. Cut out the scrapbook
paper, leaving about 1/4 of an inch around the label.
5. Add stickers to
your label to personalize it.
6. Next, use a water-proof
pen to write "This belongs to _______" to your label.
7. Using more of
the spray adhesive, mount the label to your favorite books and
enjoy.
