Mormonchic.com's mission is to serve
as a resource for chic Mormon chicks. Our purpose
is to provide quality articles and information on
topics that as strong, dynamic Mormon women, you really
care about: Gospel, Bargains, Recipes, Parenting,
Style, Crafts, & Health.
H I S T O R Y
Mormonchic.com started out as
a thought when a few friends were planning a baby
shower. One friend said, "Wouldn't it be great if
we could just go to mormonchicpunch.com for punch
recipes!" The other friend replied, "Yeah, but you
know what would be really great? A webpage that had
recipes and other interests that Mormon women enjoy...like
fashion, style, crafts, parenting, etc."
And thus an idea was born. In
Aug of 2000, Mormonchic.com first launched its website,
with just a few pages and with just a few staff
members. Today Mormonchic.com has staff writers
across the country and has seven chic sections:
Gospel Chic, DealDiva Chic, Recipe Chic, Mommy Chic,
Style Chic, Crafty Chic, Healthy Chic.
In the future, Mormonchic.com hopes
to continue to serve as a resource for chic Mormon
chicks across the country and the world. If you
have suggestions on how we can better serve you
don't hesitate to drop us a line: feedback.
We are always looking for more writers,
contributors, copy editors and designers to help
make the site better.
We currently have four types of volunteer
opportunities: (Remember, Mormonchic is an all-volunteer site.
Unfortunately, no one gets paid, but as a staff
we have fun working together. Also, all contributions
to Mormonchic.com, including graphics, articles
submitted, etc., becomes property of Mormonchic.com
and is copyrighted as such.)
